Terms of Use

These terms apply to rafterlane.com. By using the site, you agree to them. Questions go to [email protected].

Information, not professional advice

Rafter Lane’s cost ranges come from contractor quotes homeowners have posted publicly and from manufacturer and retailer list prices, as of the date shown on each table. Your own project’s price comes down to your site, region, materials and contractor. Use the ranges to judge the quotes you get, not to replace them.

  • Get written quotes from licensed, insured contractors.
  • Check building codes and permit rules with your local building department.
  • Drawings are simplified illustrations. They are not to scale and are not construction plans.
  • Nothing on the site is structural, electrical, legal, tax or financial advice, or an endorsement of any contractor, manufacturer or product.

Accuracy

We check and date every number, but prices change and mistakes happen. The site is provided as is, without any promise that it is complete or current. If you find an error, please report it; Our Method explains how corrections are handled.
